Block Island - Island time

Yesterday in the rain - a very close arrangement.

On a beautiful day at Block Island we did the tourist thing and went to the beach.
Izzy getting ready for the ocean.

What can I say - made for Izzy, right Cooper and Georgia?

At Mohegan Brewery a couple of  frosty beers. Summer Wheat and English Ale - yum

The architecture here is Victorian  - one of the resorts.

and this cute rental called the Doll House.
Walking  the beach

A Turtle sculpture in the sand

back at the anchorage - I guess everyone went to the beach today

There we are high and dry - evidently we have still not figured out this tide thing.  And now we have a 500 pound  dinghy to haul back into the water - or maybe wait for high tide?

I love this Island, how can you not?  But every day is an adventure discovering new territory.
