We are presently back in Columbus, Ms on Broulee. Came down for a week and brought the rebuilt transmission back. The boat looks good and the weather was bearable - in the mid 80's, but past three days has been stormy. Because of storms we were unable to sea trial, but Rick did a forward and reverse tied in the slip and all seemed ok. July is nearing the end and this past week has given me some time to update blog. We are heading back to Minnesota tomorrow.

Transmission ready for disassembly

All new and clean

1, 2, 3 UGH!

Ok it's in!!

Cooper started T-Ball this year and the first game we went to he had decided he didn't want to play. The coach did a fine job of talking him into picking up his hat and glove and getting back into the game (or maybe it was the ice cream his dad promised him if he stayed in the game).

He's actually pretty good, but, we might be prejudiced

At least he looks good in his baseball cap.

The gardens are now in full bloom

The annual 4th of July Pontoon Boat race was a hit again this year. Some of the boats go with a theme - our's this year was patriotic. Everyone loads boats with water balloons, water guns and one boat had a fire hose with a small generator on board. It's a lot of fun with about 20-30 boats participating with a potluck party on the beach after the race. Nigh time brings out the big fireworks and the party continues well into the wee hours of the morn.
